What is CRM in Dino ERP?

CRM in Dino ERP lets your team capture leads, score them, move opportunities across a kanban pipeline, log activities, calls and campaigns, and convert a won lead into a customer and quotation. It runs inside the same self-hosted installation as sales and finance, so there is no separate CRM to sync.

In detail

How CRM works

What can the Dino ERP CRM do from lead to deal?

It covers the full path from a new enquiry to a won deal. Leads arrive with a lead source and a rule-based score from 0 to 100, are worked through activities, and are converted into a customer and an opportunity. Opportunities then move through your own stages on a kanban board.

  • Leads and lead sources
  • Rule-based lead scoring (0–100)
  • Opportunity kanban with custom stages
  • Assignment rules
  • Convert lead to customer and quotation

How does lead scoring work in Dino ERP?

Scoring is rule-based, not a black box. Each lead gets a number between 0 and 100 from the rules configured for your business, so reps can sort by the hottest leads first. Assignment rules route new leads to the right owner or team.

Can Dino ERP log phone calls against a customer, lead or ticket?

Yes. You can log a call against a customer, supplier, lead, opportunity, ticket or employee, with direction, outcome (answered, missed, no-answer, busy, failed, voicemail), numbers, start time, duration, notes and an HTTPS recording link. A call report shows calls per user per day and missed calls, and a call can create a follow-up activity.

  • Twilio callbacks verified by X-Twilio-Signature
  • Exotel callbacks verified by a URL token
  • Any other system through an HMAC-SHA256 signed JSON callback
  • Idempotent per provider call id

How are activities, campaigns and follow-ups handled?

Calls, meetings and tasks are recorded as activities on the lead, opportunity or customer and appear in the owner’s day. Campaigns group leads by source so you can see what each campaign produced. Every record page also carries a unified timeline of notes, activities, calls, e-mails and WhatsApp messages.

Who can see which leads and deals in Dino ERP?

Visibility is enforced by the backend using role permissions and record scope: own records, team, department, branch or the whole company. Managers also see the records of their reports. Changes are written to the audit trail with old and new values, and field-level security hides sensitive fields from users without the right permission.

How does CRM connect to sales and the rest of Dino ERP?

Converting a lead creates the customer and opportunity records in the same database used by sales, finance and helpdesk. A quotation can be raised straight from the opportunity, and the customer page shows quotations, orders, invoices and tickets together. Pipeline, funnel, lead-source and activity reports read from the same data.

FAQ

CRM: questions buyers ask

Do I need my own Twilio or Exotel account for call logging?

Only if you want calls logged automatically. You can always log a call by hand. For automatic logging, your telephony provider posts call events to a Dino ERP callback; Twilio, Exotel and any system that can send an HMAC-SHA256 signed JSON request are supported.

Does Dino ERP make or receive calls from the browser?

No. The CRM records calls and recording links but does not provide click-to-call, IVR, a softphone, call routing or call recording storage.

Can I customise pipeline stages?

Yes. Stages are configurable, and opportunities carry value, probability and a won or lost reason, which feed a weighted forecast.

Is the CRM a separate product from the ERP?

No. It is a module of the same self-hosted installation, using the same customers, users, permissions and audit trail as the rest of Dino ERP.

Does it work across multiple branches?

Yes. One installation serves one company with any number of branches, and CRM records can be scoped to a branch, team or owner through permissions.

Can I get the source code?

Yes. Dino ERP is sold as a one-time purchase with full source code, so you can host it on your own server and white-label it.
