Tax & country setup

Configure one operating country’s tax regime, registration labels, invoice fields and reports for a single company, with multiple branches supported.

What is Tax & country setup in Dino ERP?

Tax in Dino ERP configures one company’s tax regime. For India it applies CGST and SGST or IGST by place of supply and produces GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B reports, portal JSON, IRP e-invoice and e-way bill data and a TDS register. Other countries have configurable starters, and e-invoice submissions are tracked in a transmission ledger.

In detail

How Tax & country setup works

How does Dino ERP handle India GST?

Tax is split by place of supply: CGST and SGST for intra-state supplies and IGST for inter-state supplies. Invoices carry HSN or SAC codes and the amount in words. Reverse charge is supported, and the TDS and withholding register tracks deductions on supplier payments.

Can Dino ERP prepare GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B?

Yes. It produces GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B reports from your posted invoices and bills, and a GSTR-1 portal JSON file you can review and upload on the GST portal. You still file on the portal; Dino ERP prepares the data.

Does Dino ERP support e-invoicing and e-way bills in India?

Yes. It supports IRP e-invoice and e-way bill data for Indian invoices. Submission uses your own GST credentials and, where needed, a provider, and the outcome is recorded against the invoice in the e-invoice transmission ledger.

Which countries have tax starters in Dino ERP?

Starters exist for the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, the UK, the EU (baseline), Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and the US (manual rates), plus a generic profile for other countries. They are configurable starting points for tax codes, registration labels and invoice fields, not compliance advice, and rates and rules need review for your business before go-live.

What is the e-invoice transmission ledger?

It is a per-invoice record of each e-invoice submission: status, provider responses, signed callbacks and rejection notifications. A built-in manual provider lets you submit on a government portal yourself and record the outcome, so the invoice history stays complete.

Is Dino ERP ready for Saudi ZATCA e-invoicing?

Native ZATCA Phase 2 onboarding is built (keys and CSR, compliance and production CSID, XAdES signing, QR code, ICV and PIH chain, clearance and reporting calls), but it is available, not yet certified. It needs your ZATCA registration and sandbox testing before production use.

What about UAE PINT-AE and Peppol?

UAE PINT-AE and EU Peppol transmission need an accredited provider or Access Point, which is not bundled. Dino ERP offers a draft UAE e-invoice XML and a draft VAT workpaper that you can use with your provider.

FAQ

Tax & country setup: questions buyers ask

Does Dino ERP file GST returns for me?

No. It prepares GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B reports and a GSTR-1 portal JSON file; you review them and file on the GST portal.

Is the country tax setup legal advice?

No. The starters are configurable foundations. Rates and local rules must be reviewed by your accountant before you go live.

Is ZATCA e-invoicing certified in Dino ERP?

Not yet. The native onboarding and signing are built but not certified; you need ZATCA registration and sandbox testing before production.

Can I run more than one country in one installation?

An installation runs one company with one operating country’s tax regime, with any number of branches.

Does the system support TDS?

Yes. A TDS and withholding register records deductions on supplier payments for reporting.

Do I need a GST Suvidha Provider for e-invoicing?

Submitting to the IRP needs your GST credentials and, depending on your setup, an API provider; the transmission ledger records each response either way.
