In detail

How E-commerce works

Which online stores can Dino ERP connect to?

Dino ERP has connectors for Shopify and WooCommerce. Each connected store is a channel with its own settings, and you can run several channels side by side. Dino ERP also includes a hosted storefront at /store/<slug> for selling directly.

  • Shopify connector
  • WooCommerce connector
  • Per-channel settings
  • Hosted storefront with checkout

How do stock and price sync work with my store?

You map each store listing to a Dino ERP product once. After that, stock levels and prices are pushed from the ERP to the channel, so the store reflects what you actually hold. Unmapped listings are flagged so you can map them.

  • One-time listing-to-product mapping
  • Stock sync to the channel
  • Price sync to the channel
  • Unmapped listings flagged

What happens when a customer places an order on Shopify or WooCommerce?

The order is imported into Dino ERP as a sales order and then follows your normal fulfilment, invoicing and posting flow. Webhooks from the store are signed and verified before they are accepted. Imported orders appear in the sync monitoring views.

  • Orders imported as sales orders
  • Signed webhooks
  • Normal delivery, invoice and stock posting

Are fulfilments and refunds sent back to the store?

Yes. When you fulfil an order in Dino ERP, the fulfilment is pushed back to the store so the customer sees the status. Refunds made in the store are imported into the ERP so your returns and credit notes stay in step.

  • Fulfilment push-back
  • Refund import
  • Sync log per channel

How do I monitor and fix sync problems?

Sync monitoring lists what was sent and received per channel, along with webhook events, so you can see failures and retry or correct the mapping. Credentials for each channel are stored on the server, and inbound webhooks use an opaque per-channel token and HMAC signatures.

Can I sell directly from a Dino ERP storefront?

Yes. The hosted storefront shows your catalogue and takes checkout payments through Stripe, Razorpay or PayPal. It needs a configured payment gateway in your own account with that provider, and orders land in the ERP like any other online order.

  • Catalogue and checkout
  • Stripe, Razorpay or PayPal
  • Uses your own gateway account

FAQ

E-commerce: questions buyers ask

Does Dino ERP integrate with Shopify and WooCommerce?

Yes. Both have connectors covering listing mapping, stock and price sync, order import, fulfilment push-back and refund import.

Do online orders reduce ERP stock?

Orders import as sales orders, so they go through the normal delivery flow and the stock engine. Stock levels then sync back out to the store.

Do I need my own Stripe, Razorpay or PayPal account for the storefront?

Yes. The hosted storefront takes payment through a gateway you configure with your own credentials, which are stored encrypted. Without one, checkout cannot take online payments.

Does it support Amazon, Flipkart or other marketplaces?

No. The supported connectors are Shopify and WooCommerce, plus the hosted storefront.

Are refunds made through the payment gateway?

Refunds imported from the store are recorded in the ERP. Dino ERP does not issue gateway refunds through Stripe, Razorpay or PayPal.

Can I use it for several stores?

Yes. Each store is a separate channel with its own mapping and settings, all under your single company.
