In detail
You define inspection plans with characteristics and sampling rules for goods receipts and for production. When a receipt or production output matches a plan, an inspection is created, and inspectors record pass or fail results per characteristic.
Yes. A quality hold blocks a batch or lot from moving until someone with the right permission releases it. Because holds sit on the inventory records, the restriction applies wherever that stock would otherwise be picked or delivered.
You raise a non-conformance report (NCR) describing the defect, and link it to a corrective and preventive action (CAPA) that tracks the root cause and the fix through to closure. NCRs against purchased goods feed supplier performance.
Supplier scorecards summarise inspection and NCR results by supplier, helping buyers decide who to trust. An SPC report charts measured characteristics over time so you can see drift before it becomes a defect.
Yes. Quality certificates are issued and stored in the Quality module against the inspected product or batch, alongside the inspection results.
Every quality resource has its own permission keys (plan, inspection, hold, NCR, CAPA, certificate, scorecard), enforced in the backend, and changes are recorded in the audit trail with old and new values. Records follow branch scope, so one site cannot see another’s data unless granted.
